Our F7 Sawn Timber is a high-density, structural post designed for dependable load-bearing applications. Stress-graded to F7, it provides reliable vertical support for verandahs, pergolas, carports, fencing and landscaping projects.
Naturally durable heartwood contains resins that contribute to its hardness and resistance to decay and termite attack—without requiring harsh chemical treatment. Suitable for both above-ground and in-ground use, it offers Class 1 durability above ground and Class 2 durability in ground-contact applications. Under suitable conditions can provide a service life of more than 40 years above ground and up to 25 years in ground.
Air-dried for natural seasoning and reduced shrinkage, each post has a rough sawn finish that suits rustic exposed applications, staining, or natural weathering. The profile allows straightforward joining and fixing. As a natural timber product, linear surface checks or cracks may develop over time; these are normal and generally do not affect the timber’s structural strength.
